The objectives of the Eddie Roche and Sons Health & Safety system are to:
- Maintain systems and controls to identify hazards and mitigate risks in accordance with Health & Safety legislations and regulations
- Fulfil all of our legal and other obligations
- Establish measurable objectives and targets to improve performance
- Ensure all prospective employees are competent to carry out the work proposed and have all required qualifications, experience and training
- Where necessary, provide appropriate training
- Provide safe equipment and have in place systems to ensure it remains safe
- Provide all necessary PPE and ensure employees are instructed on how to use and maintain it
- Establish, implement and maintain a system of incident reporting and investigation, together with taking corrective and/or preventive action
- Promote and encourage communication, consultation, participation and continual improvement
