Eddie Roche and Sons Ltd is committed to complying with our statutory obligations and duties under Health & Safety legislations and regulations. We strive to provide safe systems of work and a safe working environment for all our employees, subcontractors and visitors. Our company has an exceptionally high retention rate, which has allowed us to grow and create a sustainable safety culture within the workforce.

The objectives of the Eddie Roche and Sons Health & Safety system are to:

• Maintain systems and controls to identify hazards and mitigate risks in accordance with Health & Safety legislations and regulations
• Fulfil all of our legal and other obligations
• Establish measureable objectives and targets to improve performance
• Ensure all prospective employees are competent to carry out the work proposed and have all required qualifications, experience and training
• Where necessary, provide appropriate training
• Provide safe equipment and have in place systems to ensure it remains safe
• Provide all necessary PPE and ensure employees are instructed on how to use and maintain it
• Establish, implement and maintain a system of incident reporting and investigation, together with taking corrective and/or preventive action
• Promote and encourage communication, consultation, participation and continual improvement
